Day Habilitation
ASUI consumers are provided with exemplary, personalized day habilitation services designed to support mentally and physically challenged individuals to acquire a personal identity and learn the norms, values, behavior and social skills appropriate to his or her social position. Consumers attend class daily in a structured learning environment with an actual classroom setting to assist in realizing their potential and how to function within the community. Consumers work continuously toward becoming independent regardless of their disability, keeping abreast of current events and learning the basic, but necessary, fundamentals of self-care. Day habilitation at ASUI provides opportunities for consumers to challenge themselves and achieve success.
