Group Homes

ASUI group homes are designed to assist individuals with an acute and permanent mental illness to achieve their highest degree of independent functioning and recovery. The directors of our group homes hold degrees in a human service discipline with over 15 years experience in mental health services. Additionally because ASUI understands that the needs of your loved ones are most important, our facility director is available 24 hours a day to the group home staff and prepared to handle any emergencies should the need arise. Our group home staff members are certified in First Aid and CPR as well as mandatory medical training updates annually. As part of our group home, residents are taught, coached and assisted with daily living and self-care skills. Consumers are assisted in areas such as meal planning and preparation, the use of transportation, management of financial resources, and numerous other life skills that will help to ensure our consumers are prepared to function independently at their maximum level.
